However, I find this recording extremely listenable and straightforward. Moreover, for a beginner to Bach's organ music this edition comes at a very reasonable price (at least in Germany). Highly recommended! At first, I regarded Stockmeier's recordings as pedestrian, but altered my opinion after listening to some of the works. Some of the music is so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes. Definitely a creditable performance. ...
